Description

Acting for the camera is a different set of skills than acting in live performances. This class is for the student who is interested in learning about a career as an actor on camera. Students will learn about the industry, various avenues to getting jobs, and skills specific to acting for the camera.

Jeff Rocco

Jeff has worked with CYT in every capacity! He started as a student in Spokane, where he also directed his first CYT production (Seussical) many years later. Camp Director in Portland, Artistic Director in North Idaho and Seattle, and of course, teacher, later followed. Jeff has worked on stages from Seattle to New York City, both onstage and behind the scenes. Some of his favorite roles include Patrick in Mame, Man #2 in the Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged, offstage the role of Stage Manager is his favorite because making theater happen is what he lives for.
