Description

CYT Students 9-16 will learn the basics of TAP! This dance genre is integral to musical theater and makes regular appearances in CYT MainStage shows.

Why take tap? Tap teaches rhythm and musicality as well as balance and coordination. It's a fantastic skill to add to your audition resume!

*Mikala Lindgren

Mikala Lindgren is a CYT alumni from the class of 2017 and has been involved in 40+ shows on and offstage. She is currently very proud to be a woman in STEM attending Spokane Community College studying Water Science. In the past, Mikala has choreographed for many local theaters and schools here in Spokane. She is excited to be returning to a place she loves so much to dive back into the world of dance.
