Become a character from head to toe. Explore the building blocks of acting through creative movement, story enactment, theater games, imagination journeys, and more! You'll be able to use your whole body, voice and facial expressions. Learn everything you need to know to be ready for the big stage!


Kayleen Geiger

Kayleen is a CYT Spokane Alumni and has participated in over 20 shows throughout her lifetime, both Dramas and Musicals. She trained as a ballerina for 9 years and also has experience in many other types of dance. Kayleen attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where she met her now husband and was the Production Manager for the on campus theatre student group. She graduated from Moody with her BA in Children and Family Ministries in 2021 and currently works as a Visitation Supervisor for Unite Family Services. Jackson and Kayleen also serve families in the Spokane community as Licensed Foster Parents. As a CYT teacher, Kayleen is delighted to be sharing her passion for telling a story and worshipping Our Lord and Savior through art with her CYT family again.


Jeff Rocco

Jeff has worked with CYT in every capacity! He started as a student in Spokane, where he also directed his first CYT production (Seussical) many years later. Camp Director in Portland, Artistic Director in North Idaho and Seattle, and of course, teacher, later followed. Jeff has worked on stages from Seattle to New York City, both onstage and behind the scenes. Some of his favorite roles include Patrick in Mame, Man #2 in the Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged, offstage the role of Stage Manager is his favorite because making theater happen is what he lives for.
