Class Description

Put your acting skills to the test in this in-depth look at the works of the greatest English playwright. You will learn how to understand, appreciate, and bring William Shakespeare's challenging language to life. You will also get a look at the historical context and an overview of all the rich stories and characters that Shakespeare created. You may have studied Shakespeare in school, but his plays were meant for the stage and not the page - you can't just read them, you have to act them! Are you ready for a challenge? As William himself said, "Screw your courage to the sticking place."
