Description

This course will explore some of the music of Elvis from this heartwarming show about following dreams and the power of music. Improve your singing, dancing and acting skills and take them to the next level in this energetic and fun musical theater class.
Prerequisite: Core Voice, Core Dance

Jeff Rocco

Jeff has worked with CYT in every capacity! He started as a student in Spokane, where he also directed his first CYT production (Seussical) many years later. Camp Director in Portland, Artistic Director in North Idaho and Seattle, and of course, teacher, later followed. Jeff has worked on stages from Seattle to New York City, both onstage and behind the scenes. Some of his favorite roles include Patrick in Mame, Man #2 in the Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged, offstage the role of Stage Manager is his favorite because making theater happen is what he lives for.

Andrew Sommerville

Andrew Sommerville is a CYT alumni from the class of 2018 and has been involved in 35+ shows on and offstage. They are currently attending Eastern Washington University to get a BA in Theatre. In the past, Andrew has taught dance, musical theatre, and stagecraft at CYT classes and summer camps. They are so excited to be teaching with CYT Spokane again!
