Have you ever been intrigued or curious about theater makeup and design, including special effects makeup? Now is your chance to learn more about the fun, hands-on process of creating makeup designs for the stage. In this class, we will learn the basics of theater makeup including application, selecting shades, and blending. Students will also learn to apply both two and three dimensional makeup applications, including techniques for creating old age, makeup styles throughout history, as well as fantasy and abstract designs.
By the end of the class, students will understand the process of both designing and applying makeup for the stage.
