Most playwrights have their own flavor on the stage, but perhaps none as distinctive as the Bard himself, Shakespeare. Join us in this class as we learn about what makes Shakespearean theatre different and try our hand at it.

Prerequisite: Core Drama (Drama 100) + 1 - 200 level elective class

Jeff Rocco

Jeff has worked with CYT in every capacity! He started as a student in Spokane, where he also directed his first CYT production (Seussical) many years later. Camp Director in Portland, Artistic Director in North Idaho and Seattle, and of course, teacher, later followed. Jeff has worked on stages from Seattle to New York City, both onstage and behind the scenes. Some of his favorite roles include Patrick in Mame, Man #2 in the Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged, offstage the role of Stage Manager is his favorite because making theater happen is what he lives for.
