Description

Come and stretch your abilities while building your skills in this challenging class that focuses on one of the most common and expressive dance forms in theater - Jazz!. Build strength in your body, legs, arms, and core while also increasing your confidence, stage presence, and style.

NEW SPOTS ARE FOR NEW REGISTRATIONS ONLY (not in another spring 2024 class) 
Prerequisite: ALL CORE CLASSES REQUIRED: CORE DRAMA, CORE VOICE, CORE DANCE

Hello CYT Friends! I’ve been teaching elementary school for over 35 years throughout the Northwest and I’ve taught dance movement longer than that! I love jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop, but my favorite style is musical theater. I have taught many different CTY classes and have enjoyed the privilege of choreographing CYT shows for over twenty years, both in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. CYT students always impress me with their talent and kind hearts, a great combination.
