Description

This dynamic course offers a hands-on exploration of the fascinating world of set design, empowering you to unleash your creativity and bring stories to life on stage. You will learn how the pieces of set design work together to add this important component to a production.
Note: This class will have its showcase on Monday, June 3rd. 
Prerequisite: CORE DRAMA

I have been a part of building sets for the following CYT shows. Wizard of Oz, Matilda, SpongeBob, Cinderella, Finding Nemo, Mary Poppins and currently Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I also worked backstage for 7 CYT productions. I assist with building props and set pieces for the Mount Spokane HS Marching Band.

Sarah Alba

Sarah Alba has had an interest in design and construction since high school. She loves to problem solve, repurpose, and learn new skills while creating theatre sets. Sarah has worked on or led the sets team for six prior CYT shows.
