CYT Spokane LITE Productions

CYT Lite is ideal for newcomers or experienced younger students seeking featured roles. These shows are for students ages 8-12 through the entire run of the show and enrolled in a CYT class. Focusing on building skills in vocals, choreography, and characterization in a lower-pressure environment.
  • Format: Rehearsals are on Wednesday Nights and Saturday mornings with a streamlined tech process.
  • Production: Simple sets and costumes with 4 public performances of a licensed 60-minute musical!
  • Requirement: Less parent commitment (10 hours instead of 20).
  • Audition Policy: At CYT Spokane we value commitment. Students who agree to "accept any role" but withdraw after being cast may impact their future casting opportunities at CYT.
  • Please note: Students who audition for the LITE show and are then cast in the LITE show are then not eligible for the MainStage production.

How do I sign up for an audition time slot?
  1. Register for a class for the current session

  3. If there are no available time slots, please contact the Office by emailing office@cytspokane.org.

YOU CAN SIGN UP FOR BOTH THE LITE AND MAINSTAGE AUDITIONS IF YOU WISH. Please note that students who audition for the LITE show and are then cast in the LITE show are then not eligible for the MainStage production, and that audition will be automatically canceled.

Before the auditions, please print, complete, and sign all necessary audition forms.
